Dates

  • Hacking begins at 7 PM on Friday, October 4th, and closes 9 AM ET Sunday, October 6th.
  • All hacks must be pre-submitted to Devpost by 10pm Saturday, October 5th.

Eligibility

  • Only current students, or those who are within 1 year of their graduation, are eligible to hack as students.
  • To compete as a beginner team, be prepared to explain why your team is a beginner to judges and on your Devpost submission.
  • Hackers are required to abide by the &hacks code of conduct.

Project and Submission Requirements

  • Project work done at &hacks may not be submitted to other hackathons.
  • If you are continuing a project started before &hacks, you must clearly state what work your team completed during &hacks in your Devpost submission. Teams that misrepresent what was completed during the hacking period will be disqualified.
  • Each hack may be made by a team of between 1-4 people.
  • Each hacker is only able to submit 1 project, but a project can be submitted under any and all categories that the project fits.
  • All code must be uploaded to a GitHub repository.

Prizes

  • Hackers will be able to select a prize from the treasure chest on the day-of document, based on the prize category that they win.
  • Winners will be contacted after the hackathon and prizes will be delivered by mail.
